The MDI Group is made up of four companies. All of them have as their principal business the sale, installation, commissioning and servicing of Parking & Access Control systems that include fully computerised parking station equipment, card reader systems, barrier (boom) gates,  shutters, sectional grilles, swing and slide gates, fencing and turnstiles.
Applications are within the full spectrum of residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Magic Door Industries was founded in 1969 and has grown from a small operation into a sophisticated company providing a range of security and communications products and services. It currently employs over 100 people and has operations throughout Australia.
Magic Door Industries retails some of the worlds leading manufacturers of parking and access control equipment throughout metropolitan Sydney and Melbourne mostly under the registered brand name Magic Button®.

Magic Door Queensland began operation in Queensland in 1989 and focuses on both commerial, industrial and domestic markets, with some exporting of equipment into Papua New Guinea.

Liftmaster Electronics, registered owner of the Magic Button® brand name, imports and distributes a range of parking and access control equipment throughout Australia via a strong network of resellers while also manufacturing printed circuit boards, motor drives, security parking grills/doors and barrier (boom) gates.

MDI Services' sole purpose is to provide after-sales service for all products and solutions sold by any member of the MDI Group. Additionally, preventive maintenance contracts and full comprehensive maintenance contracts are offered.
MDI Service has major offices along the east coast of Australia. It operates 20 radio controlled service vehicles 24 hours per day, ten in NSW and five each for QLD and VIC.
